Our Monthly Free Petting Zoo Story Time at Book People!
At 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 19th, Tiny Tails traveling petting zoo will be reading animal-themed children's books and singing songs with our animals at Book People downtown (6th and Lamar). Come by, enjoy the stories and spend some time in the petting zoo with our animal friends at this free and INDOORS event!
Join us at the Barton Creek Mall farmer's market every 3rd Saturday from 10:30 to 12:00 and at the Highland Mall farmer's market every 1st Sunday from 11:30-1:00! We charge $4 for 8 minutes in the pen. It's a great way to see our set up and meet our staff and animal friends!
What Makes Us Different?
Our traveling petting zoo has small and miniature animals only. We bring little stools for children (and adults!) to sit on, we hand them mats to put in their laps, and then we hand them different little animals to hold throughout the zoo. This is a very unique experience as everyone gets a lot of one-on-one time with the animals, and the traveling zoo is very well organized. We also fill our zoos with educational animal facts!

We are Austin's adorable tiny traveling petting zoo serving Austin, Georgetown, Pflugerville, San Marcos, Manor, Killeen and everywhere in between. Our events are both fun and educational! We provide a unique interactive experience that combines petting and holding our loveable animals with learning facts about the animal breeds, traits, care, and handeling.
Our specialty is birthday parties for animal lovers of all ages. We also do wonderful traveling petting zoos, photography and face painting for churches, schools, businesses, and pet therapy programs for nursing homes and other groups! Our traveling petting zoo is licensed by the US Department of Agriculture, insured, and we take wonderful care of our animal friends.
