Weekday Petting Zoo Playgroups:
Indoors in Austin, Pflugerville and Round Rock!

Each hour-long indoor program will include:
- An interactive story time
- 15-20 minutes of holding and petting our adorable animals
- An age-appropriate educational animal craft or activity (music or easy animal pose movements!)
- We may also include time with balloons and bubbles for our youngest guests.

Where are the playgroups located?
All of our playgroups are held at locally owned toy and book stores! We have a Monday morning location at Toy Time in Pflugerville, a Tuesday evening location at Brilliant Sky Toys in Westlake, and a Wednesday and Sunday morning location at Kaleidoscope Toys in Round Rock. These are in addition to our Thursday morning playgroups at Book People in downtown Austin.
Are the playgroups educational?
Yes! Our goal with everything we do through Tiny Tails to You is to teach children about our animal friends. During the petting zoo portion of the playgroups, we give interesting facts about the animals. Our crafts always explore a certain trait or feature of an animal while still offering creativity and fun.
What sort of craft or activity should you expect?
Our age-appropriate crafts explore a certain trait or feature of someone from the animal kingdom.
Do you need to stay with your child?
Yes, children must be accompanied by an adult. Although we will have at least two Tiny Tails to You staff members there, these programs are for parents and children alike and is not a childcare option.
What ages are these programs for?
Right now we welcome children ages 0-11. Although our crafts are primarily geared toward preschool aged children, we've found that older children enjoy the animals and activities just as much.
How much does it cost?
Our hour-long program is $10.00 per child and free for their adults. We now accept credit card, cash or check for these events upon entry (there is a 50 cent surcharge per child for credit cards).
